At The Dram Room, we’re proud whisky geeks with a serious passion for sharing great drams and even better company.

Between us, we've spent decades immersed in the Scotch world—tasting, talking, working, and learning. But the real magic started one evening around Derek’s kitchen table. With a few new whiskies in our glasses and plenty of chat about what we liked (and didn’t), we had a lightbulb moment: what if we could recreate this experience for others?

That one idea led to our first tasting events—small gatherings with friends and local groups. The response was incredible. People weren’t just enjoying the whisky; they were loving the chance to connect, learn, and geek out together.

Encouraged by that early buzz, we started dreaming bigger. 

Over years of attending whisky shows, we’d met so many kindred spirits—people who loved whisky as much as we did and wanted to share that passion. We brought them into the fold, and just like that, The Dram Room was born.

Today, we’re a growing collective of whisky lovers on a mission to bring the joy of whisky tasting into homes and communities. Whether you’re a seasoned sipper or just getting started, our tastings are designed to be fun, informal, and seriously delicious.
